Pray for China and East Gates Projects Project Light Building Chinese Churches Training Publishing Bicycles for Pastors Elderly Home How To Get Involved		How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, "Your God reigns!"  ~ Isaiah 52:7 The Gospel is now spreading to some of the most remote regions of China.  As to be expected, the infrastructure in many of these areas is still under development.  Local pastors in these areas have many people to visit, responsibilities to take care of and errands to run.  During the winter in some of the northernmost provinces, walking one kilometer in the bitter cold can be unbearable. Given the meager wages most pastors earn, something as practical as a bicycle is very hard to come by.  It is considered a luxury. At East Gates, we have been able to make the work load of many pastors far easier by providing them "wheels" to do their job. "How beautiful...are the feet who pedal and bring good news...proclaim peace...bring good tidings...and proclaim salvation..." The pastors share their gift with the church and many are able to put it to good use in serving the needs of many.  It's been amazing to see how such a simple gift can produce such joy and "fruit" in a growing community of faith.
